I’ll work with you to gather the details needed to build a perfect fit for your keyboard, shaping the proportions so the desk feels seamless—like it was always meant to be there. The Anima works best with narrower, smaller keyboards no deeper than 10”, and it doubles beautifully as a writing desk or console table when closed.

Waterfall grain, quiet precision

I carefully select long boards with continuous grain and figure to compose the Anima’s signature waterfall lines. Whenever possible, I use timber rescued from urban forests, The casework features waterfall joints supported by brass inserts, balancing strength with refinement.

A lid that disappears, a music stand that appears

The lid uses SOSS hidden hinges, creating an unobstructed, flat top when closed—clean, calm, and ready for anything. Open it, and a unique sheet music support panel made from urban presents itself: it stores flat against the lid via brass thumb screws, then slides into an angled groove when in use. The sheet music panel is made from urban oliver or sycamore depending upon availability.

Details that respect your space

Tapered legs are capped with solid, hand-shaped brass feet and levelers, and the bottom includes cable management access ports so the setup stays tidy. Finished in a best-in-class hard wax oil with a soft satin sheen, Anima is made to be touched, used, and loved for generations.
