I am a studio craftsman, and each unit is made to order with great care with expertise. Every piece is 100% unique. I try and use every inch of wood in my furniture builds and this piece allows me to give off-cuts a second life. I lean into the unique characteristics of solid wood. I believe elements such as knots and figure are visual history of embodied frequency, growth, struggle, and life. These elements support and give energy to our own efforts.
